Oktoberfest is held every year in Tatamagouche on the last Friday and Saturday of September. This coincides with the traditional starting dates for Oktoberfest in Munich, which runs two weeks and ends on the second Sunday in October. Ours is a little smaller, with all events held at the North Shore Recreation Centre (in sight of our front steps). Aside from the two Beer Gardens and the Dance, there is also a decorating competition among the local businesses. Because of the large numbers of requests we receive each year for bookings during Oktoberfest, we have instituted a written booking policy for Oktoberfest.
